I was playing Skyrim, when i noticed this:

Can someone tell me how to fix this WITHOUT, having to restart the game.

I'm not exactly sure if this will work for Skyrim but in Oblivion you could bring up the console, then click on the object you wanted to remove and type Disable and press enter.

did you try taking off all your armor? Is it still there with it off?

The only fix I've found for it (having tried unequipping everything, dropping all the arrows in my inventory, sleeping, waiting, wandering the wilderness for days at a time) was to use the console to bring up the race menu, change my race, and change it back. Unfortunately, after doing this I have to redo my face, which is a bit time consuming.

I had a save close up to where i noticed this issue. So i loaded another game.
