PC Ultra High

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 1:58 am

The game auto-detected ultra high setting for my computer and I'm flying along with pefectly smooth framerate and loading times of almost zero. I'm using a 360 controller and life is bliss except for a few graphical bugs. The game is gorgeous.

My game auto detected high and had a fit when I toyed with the sliders. Updating drivers to see if that's the issue.

My game said medium but I set ultra anyways and it runs like a dream.

Just turned off AF, 2xAA and shadows is high.

I still cant use Ultra with a i920 and a 5870.
Even with AF and 2XAA off.

Mine only auto-set it to High, but I switched to Ultra and it runs flawless as well. I'm guessing it only detected that I had a 6850, as opposed to Crossfired 6850s, not that it really matters.

It is strange. The launcher autodetected MEDIUM settings for my msi gtx 560 ti 1gb but I selected ultra graphics and all goes smooth. The problem is that..are these textures "ultra"? I just think that we are playing with console textures.

Guess what!?! I set AF and AA to 2x and turned down shadow detail to High instead of Ultra and now it runs on Ultra very smoothly!
