[ATI] The solution - Final fix !

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:09 pm

A message for ATI/AMD and information for Bethesda/ID Software.
I wanted to just send them a message for the development of a future patch or drivers

Finally !!!!
After 3 days, after having to try all combinations (rageconfig.cfg + Launch options), I finally found the solution for my PC.

Before I was 60FPS with the last ATI/AMD Preview Drivers V2 11.10 + update, but I always had "black squares" around the image, there were some passages that were impossible to play.

ONLY this launch option => +cvaradd jobs_numThreads -1
=> that saved me!

This is my "launch options":

= > + com_skipIntroVideo 1 + set m_rawinput set 1 + r_swapInterval 1 + vt_maxPPF 16 + cvaradd jobs_numThreads-1

But for "Low-end" computers, here the best launch options :
=> + com_skipIntroVideo 1 + vt_maxPPF 8 + cvaradd jobs_numThreads-1

I have finally activated the "Catalyst AI", and I enabled the anisotropy in 4 in game options, with "small texture cache" and "anti-aliasing x2"

I would like to thank this person , because I can play normally now !
=> pc.players.smarter.than.jc => Thank you so much mate !

I'm French and I posted this solution on a french game forum, and since it's happiness for (almost) all the "ATI users", and I hope this fix can help other people.

Kind regards
