The Emperor?

This has spoilers about the Lord of Souls book...kinda.

I was wondering who the emperor would be in the time of Skyrim, thinking about the Infernal City books. I would think it would be Attrebus' son, in his later years, or his grandson beginning his reign. Does anyone else have any ideas? Or has it even been confirmed as to who the Emperor is?

I think it has been confirmed but I can't remember who. I wanna say Mede but that doesn't seem right.

Well it would probably be a grandchild or great grandchild of the Emperor Mede of the those books if they are related, so Mede could make sense.

What makes less sense though is what we know of the Empire, what with

religious intolerance to the point that worshiping Talos is a capital offense and willy nilly executions that have presumably killed many more innocent people, if the introduction is not an isolated incident. It's possible a child or grandchild of Attrebus might be a horrible ruler, but I know he would not have raised his kids to allow things like that. The rumors that the Thalmor are to blame would make sense no matter who the Emperor is though.

Either way, this dynasty needs to end! They're no dragonborn and they demonstrated to be utterly incompetent when it comes to wage war. :flame:
