Hi, all.

My PS3 is automatically freezing whenever I enter the Magic screens from the Circle button radial menu. All my saves barring one very old one are affected, meaning I've had to roll back play from about 3 hours ago, which is very annoying.

Does anyone know a way to resolve this?

I've uncovered what was causing my freeze: eating multiple stews at once. Very, very random.

Basically, I went through all the actions I previously attempted to replicated the Magic Menu freeze issue, and eventually managed to reliably cause the game to freeze every time with Vegetable Stew. Eating one stew was fine. Eating two seemed fine as well. Eating three or more at once, though -- freeze city!

So, basically, don't eat multiple Vegetable Stews, and you should be able to avoid this odd bug.

I believe I have the same issue.

I was fighting a bandit in a small cabin called Pineview I think, near Falgreth.

I can't remember if I ate vegetable stew, or some other kind of stew or soup, but it was definitely me eating like multiple foods right after the other, and then I would fight, and go back and heal by eating more soups or whatever. Then as soon as I push left to goto my magic menu, the PS3 immedatly locks up. Music keeps playing, but the controller light blinks, and the screen is frozen on the radial menu with the "magic" part highlighted.

Happened to my twice, I will have to see if I can reproduce this exactly to be sure it's not just my PS3 being stupid.

Yup, that's the same bug. Bloody annoying, but I've avoided eating multiple foods and not encountered it again, so it could be worse. And I think it may have been vegetable soup, not stew.
