Minor spoilers ~

I've finished the main part of the thieves guild quests and the little loot items that Delvin Mallory wants in each mission havent caused me a problem till I forgot the shipping map. I didnt go back for it till i finished the main quest line and now he wont accept the falmer eye or the map and the option to return it to him isnt even there, (in quest or in dialogue). the others went fine except these 2.

is this a known issue or am i doing something wrong?
