I'm going to be LOL'ing in my bed for weeks if the next couple patches don't address the problem.

Wait, did I say LOL'ing?

I meant crying.

Regardless, the reason I believe so many people are vocal about the issues is that we want the game to be damn near PERFECT because of how epic it is. Seeing this game in the shape that it is in is just depressing and quite honestly pathetic. I've completely stopped playing, until I get cold-hard affirmation that this stability problem will be FIXED in it's entirety.

Most important part of the article:

Pete Hines, vice-president of marketing at Bethesda, is adamant that the problem must involve factors other than save-file size.

"Most users aren't experiencing these kind of issues on the PS3," he says. "We are investigating the issue further as to why some folks are seeing this."

How can he know that "most users aren't experiencing this"??? I don't think he received more e-mails with users saying: "hey, it works fine for me".
This is worrying. It looks like they choose the path of denial and then say it's hard to fix and thus will not fix it because it's not a common issue...

That's the way it is these days.

Gaming is the fastest growing industry in the last decade or so and the media has been more fierce over the last decade as well.
The media are like sharks. They smell blood and they will immediately jump on the bandwagon and rip companies apart if that option is viable.

There are times where I hate the media but it's times like these that I am happy they are around.
Companies can no longer hide behind their protected status. You screw up? Then expect to get punished for it.
