So I got a new mw3 limetted edition Xbox that came with mw3 game, I started the game and it always skips and dies out when the "sledge hammer games" logo pops up... It say it's unreadable and to clean the disc and restart the console... I've done this 15 times, nothing changes... I've also noticed a ring near the edge of the disc that looks like a lazer burn, but I've had other games with rhis that work fine.

Please help!!

Your disc is defective and worthless. If you can get your copy replaced, that's what I'd do.

Take the disc back to the store you got it from.

get a copy of some one else mw3 install to hardrive and try again

you got the mw3 xbox? if so it shud be within a yr and you should still have that warranty, controllers, game, console, whatever came with it. if you bougght yours used you need to get your seller to transfer that console serial to your name. if you bougght it you should have the reciept and demand microsoft solve this problem (1 yr warranty).

No new at bestbuy, but the warranty only covers the system...

how long ago did you buy it?

your game disc mustve had the 90 dat limited warranty. you might be outta luck and have to get a new one. use kijiji/craigslist, theyre tons of copies floating around.

or as suggested get someones disk, install it (which you shuda done in the first place) and then try your disk. but if your disk looks gone id advise dont put it in the console.

also, make sure you extend your warranty with microsoft, its like 20 or 25 for a yr, be sure to do it before your warranty ends.

imo, mw3 svcks, dont waste your time, mindless ish thats jist straigh craptacularness, good for nothing. the campaign svcks, nothinnhg but point and shoot blah blah
