Hi All,

Was looking forward to this game and got it yesterday (Yayy) but .... omg.

1# Installation from 3 cds took over 2 hrs and then the background Steam download (I guess it was the patch) took another 5 hrs !! Well, I can live with that.

2# First launch of the game with the usual settings of my GTX 275 (drivers 280.26) that are anisotropic filtering, AAx8 , and.......blue, red and green fragments (lines and faces) just at the start (cryo unit).

3# Disabled filtering and AA, enabled sync and tried again and........nice gamplay for about 15 min before an exception error has occured and rage.exe has to be terminated.

4# Following the advise in the sticky thread I've downloaded and installed the Nvidia beta drivers. New attempt....played nice for about 15 min and then the screen went all blurry (greenish pattern) and 10 secs later BSOD with an error message about video driver problems (confirmed by the windows error report after reboot).


So, I have reverted to the 280.26 drivers (better an exception than a BSOD) but still I'm somwwhat disappointed. In the current state the game is next to unplayable for me. I do hope you guys from Betheda can fix this soon. Looks like a great fps and I'm really keen on playing it.

try to set your vsync on smart and set your AA to x4 Texture filtering large

I've read about the "smart" option but it is missing in my settings. Will try AAx4 and TF large right now.

Nope, doesn't work. As soon as I press "accept" for the new settings I get an Exception Error. Only setting that works is AA none, Vsync on or off, Texture Cache small, AF low and GPU Transcode disabled.


However, I have a new problem now: all my savegames are corrupted

New game then *sigh*
