I've encountered some weird glitch doing this journal quest chain. After you find a journal on an imperial soldier corpse after killing Nihme (the giant spider in the expidition area at Markath) you're sent after the rest of the expedition team (the quest automatically gets put in your quest list after searching the body). On the way you collect 3 team journals before reaching Stromm's, but after finding Stromm's it asks you to go find the rest of the teams journals: The journal's already in my inventory. The quest menu shows them as uncollected but the map doesn't register them in the dungeon and after handing in Stromm's journal to the mage dude in Markath who controls this quest chain, he doesn't register noticing i have the journal or quest notes that he then asks for either.

The journal's in questions are Krag's, Erj's and Staub's and none have a wiki page which is disappoiting. I'm kinda surprised i couldn't find any information on this on the net already, it seems a pretty annoying bug since you basically get the supplimentary journal's by default when looting corpses along the way (even though the books are next to the corpses on tables), so the fact that the quest tell's me to go back and find the other journals when the chances are you already have them seems a little silly.

Any help would be greatful. I'm not sure whether i've missed some other journal's (as the quest says to go deeper into the already ridiculously cumbersome dungeon to find them) as it says to go deeper, but i couldn't find another doorway i hadn't used. Or a console command to throw them into my inventory to try and re-trigger the quest into noticing i have the items in question, or the console command to just list the quest as completed.
