Sounds a little fishy to me. May be legit but probably not the best way to find components for a computer. If you're going the auction route you might as well use ebay or some other auction site with a proven track record. This "private" marketplace sounds like a ploy to get you to pay a buttload of money into something you don't really need.

My advice is to use either newegg or cyberpower to build your PC. At least with them you know what you're getting.

If you don't know exactly how you got invited, assume it's a ripoff or a scam. I'm getting conflicting results from the registrar info. Currently appears to be puppeteered by BestBuy, but used to be a third-party reseller for years.

Personally, I wouldn't trust it.

This thread honestly sounds like a scam since you are asking us to double check it... I'm sorry but I am not clicking the link.

As far as I know, it is legit but has a rather bad reputation with damaged goods and whatnot. My info is a couple of years old, though.

I just found http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Fake-iPad-2-Canada-Vancouver-Clay-iPad-2s-best-buy,news-13927.html by searching Google a minute ago. Not sure what to make of it. Info is a few months old, but it does seem to support what falchya posted.
