I'm looking for a new game to play, I'm thinking multiplayer, something perhaps on the lines of an MMO, but one without the annoyingly bad combat that you see in most like WoW. I just want something new to try really.

OT: just saw some videos on a game called Defcon, seemed interesting.

pre order for guild wars 2 is coming up on the 10th of april. From the reviews it is going to be 100x better then the first one ever was. They finally came across as promised for single and multi player ways to play online alone or with people. The world is ever changing to your character, so every time you make a new character and profession things will be different. Also it is going to be more sand box open ended with places/items/quests/people to discover. IMO like playing TES in some ways and playing an MMO at the same time...... OP: I also have to add that I dont know if you played guild wars. but the mechanics were much better then WoW. I dont think others realize how old WoW is way outdated. They are still using an engine from the late 90's early 2000s probably....lol
