I've been trying to run the game since the midnight release, Major problem is that the Resolution and video settings are said to be detected on high. They are then Set to All low automatically and in window mode. After changing the ratio to 16:9 and 1920x1080, unchecked Window Mode. The game starts in a small windowed box in the left top corner of the screen.
No matter what the graphics setting it always does the same result. Uninstalling and re installing does not fix the solution. Everything is up to date.

I have a similar issue where I only get the 1920 options in"windowed" mode. Changing the Skyrim Prefs doesn't seem to do anything.

This just in, According to tech support this issue is because the Core I7 is only at 1.73 GHz and skyrim wants 2.0. According to the tech support guy he thinks it might be trying to put more pressure on the video card and its not letting it run the correct way.
