It's true, but don't count your chickens before they hatch. We still have to wait to see what this patch will fix. Hopefully the ps3 lag is on this list.

They still haven't directly said they're addressing the one important PS3 issue, however... but they've done so for the less negative 360 and PC problems. I also find it strange that they've shipped both versions' patches at the same time... which leads me to think they've done little to specifically address the PS3 issue and instead are just going for a more general patch aside from fixing some 360 texture issues, but who knows...

Regardless... I was really looking forward to playing Skyrim DURING my Thanksgiving break.

The patch will not fix the PS3's inconsistent textures and bad frame rate. It is too soon for a patch to be out unless they had started working on it before the game's release!

I'm sure this will fix the 360 texture problems when the game is installed, and some general quest bugs, but I'm positive the PS3 lag issue / bloated save game issue won't be fixed in this update. They still play it off as if they have no idea what we're talking about. The game needs to be recalled, fixed, and redistributed at a later time, because this will not just be a quick fix.

I don't think this will fix a [censored] thing.

They barely acknowledged the problem in the first place, and only to say it's not a big deal. Meanwhile they were on the PC and 360 problems from day 1. I say it's PR bullcrap and nothing more. Prove me wrong.
