[req] Ready for Anything

While on an expedition with my ranger character last night a thaught popped into my head for a mod idea. I guess you could class it as a 3rd person visual realism tweak.

I know that without the release of the cs there will be no definitive answers. I was just wondering if any veteran modder's have an idea if the following is even possible (based on past experience of previous incarnations of the cs):

Example
Player walking around with a bow drawn and an unequipped sword at their side. They then put the bow away on their back, equip the sword and draw it while the bow stays in place (rather then just a lonely set of arrows)

I have a feeling that this is hard coded, and may end up being more trouble then it's worth. At the same time I have seen this modding community come up with some amazing things nobody thaught possible so I am throwing it out there because for some reason I find myself going into 3rd person view far more often then I ever did with oblivion.

What do you guys think?

Sounds cool. Not much to contribute, I'm afraid (modding noob), but I support this. Also, a mod to put shields on the back when not in use would be super.

Ye good idea (IIRC somebody did that for oblivion). Maybe another example would be when you are using a sword and you quickly start a dual wield spell, I think the sword should still be sheathed and ready to be drawn
