So, I bought this what I hear is a buggy and crashy game today, and to my surprise noticed I still had to download it separately. I tried http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1258133-installing-from-disc-instead-of-steam/, but it didn't allow me to instal from the disc. Steam just popped up and the download didn't start.

So I decided to download it with Steam after all. Now that I checked my download out after a few hours, I noticed it was paused. Because my account has been suspended! The [censored] is this...?

I am new to Steam, and so far, I've hated it. It said my registration number was correct, so how am I suddenly suspended? There is no information about the reason anywhere, not even in my mailbox.

Your account is suspended or the download was suspended? If your account is suspended, then consult Steam support.

Yeah, it was the download, and I read the explanation already. Many downloads result in random download suspensions. Close and/or forget this topic. Still hating Steam so far! It would've been great if there was some other info than the text 'Suspended'. Also, can't understand why I cannot install the game from the disc. Gaming has never been this hard for me, not even nearly.
