what are the ports I need to forward on my router to play multiplayer? It boots fine, i just can't find any games. Or is it because no one is playing?

I've several times selected "Quick Match" and had to wait a bit to find anyone to play with.

EDIT: That said, it wouldn't hurt to forward port 27015 just in case.

In case anyone's wondering how I arrived at that port number, I enabled the developer console and then ran the following command:

listcvars *port*

One of the results was net_port (which defaults to "27015"). Additionally, I know net_port to be the server port cvar from running servers for other id games, though you could also type it into the console and see that the description is "host port number" (that is, the port number for the server).
