I havnt looked everywhere obviously but i couldnt see anyone else with this problem so...

My problem is the game is totally unplayable!
The graphics are awfull, same as everyone else i asume.
But when i open the menu to adjust the settings, if that even makes a difference, the game crashes! Just says "Rage has stopped working".
It doesnt happen every time but if its not the 1st time it happens the 2nd time.
Any help would be apriecated, its getting very frustrating.

Im running an ATI Radeon HD 5750 (With the latest driver for Rage) and AMD Athlon II X4 Quad-Core Processor 620

listen friend this is whats working for me and i dont have any in my app launch option but the command for the console my specs
ATI HD5770 1GB RAM
Intel core i3 540
4GB DDR3 RAM
Windows XP 32 bits
Catalyst version 11.10 you need to install this but you need to wipe the old 1 out of your system first use sweep drivers if you like then on my ati control center this is what i have and its working
antialiasing 2x check the box morphological filtering
anisotropic filtering 4x
Catalyst AI high quality and check the box where it says enable surface format optimization
mipmad detail level performance
vertical refresh : on unless application specified
antialiasing mode performance
and uncheck if you have it check the triple buffering

then in game video settings
antialiasing none
Vzync off
texture cache small
anisotropic filter low and enjoy the game i can save without problem and quick save too try that and let me know.
