Little churdrens...

Haven't seen this mentioned in a while so I thought I'd ask. Has there been any confirmation about beast children in Skyrim? It would seem a little odd if the only children were Imperials and Nords.

Are you saying imperials and Nords are the only non-beast races? :)

Well, there aren't many of the beast races around in Skyrim, so that may be why people aren't finding beast children easily.

Calm yourself Iago. He just stated that's all he has seen, not that Bretons and Redgaurds aren't human. Even though Bretons really are only half human and Redguards are very different as well. Redguards do not share the same blood as other humans and have no connection to the human homeworld of Atmora.

True, but usually when people say beast race they're talking about Argonians and khajit. Mer aren't considered "beastly" either. (by the majority I mean)

Khajiit "children" look like housecats - they become more humanoid with age (assuming they're of a humanoid phenotype, some like alfiq and senche are quadrupedal cats even as advlts)

Mind. Blown.

So this is why no one in Tamriel owns house cats...

Not true. Khajiits become as they are by the phases of the moon for the most part. The Housecats are just a certain variety that are supposedly just as smart as the other races. Care to prove me wrong? I am fairly sure though.

And I am right...

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit#Sub-species_Notes

Alfiq

"A quadrupedal form of Khajiit, the Alfiq is, in many respects, similar to a common housecat. Although diminutive in form, the Alfiq retain the keen intelligence of the Khajiiti, having the ability to understand the spoken word of others, although unable to respond. It is possible that they can cast spells; see Mixed Unit Tactics for more on this subject."

Argonians though I am kind of sure we will not see any children of. If so maybe like 3-4 or so tops. This is one case where I am not very sure at all though. Argos from Black marsh need to lick the sap of the Hist to progress to advlthood right? What happens to those who are 'cut off from the root' eg. live outside of the Hist's reach? There might be lore stating that Argos do not have children in the way we are thinking.

But just above the pictures of the moon phases, it says that most khajiits look almost identical at birth, but their type becomes clear after a few weeks, due to how quickly they mature... So they'd only look like house cats for a few weeks, before maturing into Senche-raht, right? (Lore hurts my brain)

I thought the Argonian children didn't leave the marsh till they were advlts? Something to do with the Hist or some such...
