A lot of forum posts regarding interface, etc. are somewhat misleading. For those who haven't fire up Skyrim yet I can verify the following;

-Mouselook/rotation on items is present
-Mouse scrollwheel does work when cycling inventory/menus, etc.
-The UI is not as bad as so many claim and completely consolized. Like many of you, I've played many games where the UI was a sheer console port and almost unusable. Skyrim's UI is completely usable and only lacks a few conveniences, such as hotkeys for items and equipped item comparison. Other than that, it's totally fine and completely usable. Not sure what all of the negative rants were about, but there are a bit misleading.

It appears some users may be encountering bugs re: the above.
