Singleplayer crashes, Multiplayer does not! : Othor Games

After having the same problem where the game always crashes after the intro, i had a thought and tried the multiplayer. I choose to play the legend mode solo, and to my surprise the game loaded fine, i could play without any issues, graphics are perfect, no crashing, which brings me to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with my system, or the drivers, it is a problem with the game. Maybe for me and many others, the problem is somethign to do with loading the game scripts that dont need loadign when playing multiplayer?

Anyone else having issues, i suggest loading multiplayer to see if you have the same issues, maybe the mutliplayer versinon of the game is somehow more compatible, maybe comparing the files in the mp base will shed some light on this

I have the same problem!

I have downloaded all the patches and hot fixes. The last patch of the game was today. I downloaded the hot fixes for the drivers.
But i can see only intro video,and then only deep black screen. The processor is thinking. The screen flashes a light black. And that's all.
I even tried to write into the configuration settings that you recommended.
Nothing helped. For unknown reasons, mutliplayer's races is working. Rather quickly. But with the freezes. Same with the regime to play together in the story. Where to start in prison, where you need to find a rifle.
This is what goes. And the brakes at the same time too much for my system. But single player is dead.

Well, ive been playign legends again solo for a few hours, everythign works perfectly, yet singleplayer crashes soon as game loads. i jsut dont get what the problem is, the engine is workign fine, somethign about the first level maybe? is there anyway to get a save game from someone, maybe i can test that?
