yeah, all comes down what "special treasure" means...i'm not sure if its like diablo +xx% to find magical items or (what i rather believe) its a higher chance to get potions, soulstones, scrolls and "utility" stuff

I'm planning on using a mix of light and heavy armor until ~mid game. Gloves and helms tend to be pretty light weight, even when "heavy." I want to level both skills while I use my perks for 1h, smithing, and enchanting. Midgame, maybe in the mid-20s, I'll choose light vs heavy. I'm pretty sure I'll go light.

I can't decide about treasure hunter. What would have been vendor trash in oblivion and morrowind are going to be important for learning enchantments. If some important enchantments are rarer than other, this might help get them in a reasonable time without farming.

You will want to grab Treasure Hunting sooner rather than later to get full value out of the Perk. Level 10 by the latest. Otherwise you could probably give it a miss imho.

I'm not sure I agree. Presumably it'll take everyone around the same number of dungeons to get lockpicking up to 70 so they can get the perk. If I level up 10 times practicing my fighting or crafting, it's not going to affect the amount of loot I haven't gotten yet.

I do agree that I could probably skip it and not worry too much. If it absolutely rocks, somebody will post that and I can pick it up next playthrough.

I'll give you some degree of grace because you're obviously quite young.

The official release date of 11/11/11 is not a joke that can be circumvented by theft, period.

Oh man, I enjoyed reading that. Obviously if people did circumvent the date, then it sure can be circumvented by theft, right? :D

Plus anyway, plenty of people have, you know, actually purchased the game and simply received it in the mail or gotten it from a store that broke the date. Heck, apparently Skyrim's already all over the Netherlands. So yeah, I got a good chuckle!
