Who out there is using windows 7 and having errors with RAGE?

Be honest.

I am running windows xp, and I think it may be that Rage was designed on Windows 7... I am sure that windows 7 has different architecture.

Had issues with Win 7, but it turns out that they were right(surprisingly)... it was the drivers for my nvidia mobile graphics card(im running on a sony vaio laptop).

I still have some pop-ins but other than that, I can totally play! I have had this game for about a week before I was able to play it, and I was able to get the right drivers because I found a guide to force the nvidia reference drivers onto my laptop.

Count me in with probs. Get dialog box from Steam that Rage is launching, then...nothing. Running Windows 7 Pro on an HP Pavilion with an i5 @2.53 an 4 Gigs mem. Portal 2 runs fine, New Vegas runs fine, older games continue to run fine. Rage - nada, zip. Have re-installed x2 - any suggestions?

Windows 7 64-bit, NVIDIA mobile graphics, no problems whatsoever. Using the 2.75.33 driver (which came up OK in the driver search http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us and installed fine without any special .inf file work - maybe it's 64-bit that's the crucial difference?). 2.8x had massive stability problems (and I see from the NVIDIA forums that this is widespread on other folks' machines too) but 2.85.33 works just fine.
