Ken Rolston takes a subtle dig at skyrim

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:57 pm

"I just don't have the time to deeply and tragically immerse myself in this game [Skyrim] in the ways that I'd like to. I don't know how I feel about that. I might just put it in my directory and tell myself what a good boy I'm being by not playing it. The truth is that as a user I want to play every role playing game that comes along, and as someone who loves those guys at Bethesda there's nothing I'd like more than to play the game for a few hours and start firing off some emails to all my friends."

Instead, he is playing through and tweaking Kingdoms of Amalur, which features the talents of artist Todd McFarlane (Spawn) and writer R. A. Salvatore (Forgotten Realms).

"I'm playing the living daylight out of Kingdoms of Amalur," says Rolston. "I'm making sure there are no defects. That's the thing about RPGs. Even if they were ready and complete six months before ship-date, that would not be too early to play-through and check the game."

I know that isn't what he was implying, but its still funny nonetheless.

You are reading between lines that don't exist. This should be locked for being obtuse and irrelevant.
