First off, I love the game... what I can play of it anyway. It's so random. Could be trading, boom! Could be looting, boom! Could be sleeping, boom! The crash to desktop knows no bounds. No error message. Nothing.

I know you are probably working hard... I'm sure there's lots of bugs. But I haven't seen one sticky or post, anything, that says, "Hey, we're working on this:" with a list. Look, I know it's annoying. I worked in IT for 4 years. All we're asking is for some acknowledgment that things are being done.

Again, the game is great. But some of the things I've encountered are:

1.) Random crash to desktop, no error or message.

2.) When clicking on a menu item, it activates a list item a few above what is being selected.

3.) When trading with a merchant, if I don't click their name and see the full list, it exits me out of the menu items.

Just looking for an acknowledgment or sticky. In any case, my SWTOR beta starts in a few minutes. I'll be hoping for something better or patches to come out by Monday!

EDIT: I see they did mention a fix for the crash to desktop by Gstaff, but unfortunately it isn't working in mine or many others cases.

After reading a lot of posts , it seems random crash to desktop without error message is a common error, and i hope it can be hotfixed or a temp solution can be found to bypass this. Having trouble with it myself. Although i do get to play the game, its annoying to backtrack.
Until then my tip is SAVE after each lengthy conversation you cant skip etc lol

I've put the auto save to every 5 minutes. It's just very aggravating. There's no way to tell when it's going to happen. And of course, it always happens after a boss/hard fight =P

I've got the same problem, only I can't even play the game. I start it up - fine, the "Bethesda"-logo shows - fine, skyrim logo - appears fine. Then, hello desktop!

What bugs me is that this happens every single time, at the same spot. No error message or anything...

Wouldn't it figure, SWTOR is down at the moment bahaha... I sure feel like I've been taking it up the rear today. Good grief

Had four crashes so far in 6 hrs game-play. Three of them were graceful; one caused me some issues and eventually forced me to ctrl+alt+del and log-off to regain control.

A few minutes afk the camera zooms out and spins, that lasts for a minute or two then the game crashes. That happened twice, not sure why. Also just crashed when I hit the owner of the quick-silver mine while he was sitting down at home.

The fourth time it crashed the the game stayed open but frozen, and an error messaged popped up but I couldn't alt+tab to it for a few minutes. I think it said a few numbers, and was from vc dist. or .net, something like that, can't remember. Task manager wasn't working so I logged off.

Nothing in the eventvwr, the game has no crash logs, not sure what could be wrong. It plays great on my laptop with all settings maxed (shadows/blur low), decent fps, but randomly crashes.

DEP is turned on for only essencial windows apps, ram lots of available ram, temperatures are cool, lots of space on the hd, drivers are up to date, folders added to windows security essencials whitelist, vc, .net, and directx all updated, not sure what else could be issue...
