I have to say that I was rather disappointed to find that all the children are human (mainly Nords, one or two Imperials; not sure I've even seen any Breton kids), they all look nearly identical with variations in haircut and hair color, and they all wear the same clothing with occasional color variations (from the Jarl's son to a peasant's son). Hopefully once the CS is released more kids will be added to the game, especially elf kids, plus more variety in clothing and hair. Khajiit and Argonian kids would be cool, too, though there are so few Argonians that I'm not sure where you'd implement them (Khajiit kids could, of course, follow the Khajiit caravans). Just a thought.

I was thinking to do this already...It's kind of creepy to see a Redguard couple with a kid who looks EXACTLY like a Nord couple's child.
Shouldn't be hard to address anyway.

I'm glad I'm not the only one being driven crazy by this. It's a secret plot by the Thalmor to clone and use children to infiltrate all the cities and towns of Skyrim in preparation for the great youth invasion...

In all seriousness though, when the CK comes out I will look into changing this and adding children of all races into the game (with some hard work and patience)... Would be willing to have some help!

Glad there's some support for this! I don't know if Emma has moved on to Skyrim or not, but I imagine she'd be willing to help if she has, considering she made two incarnations of children for Morrowind. Might even be able to recycle some of the voice acting from Children of Morrowind (at least the parts that don't refer to Morrowind specifically).

Perhaps I will see about tracking her down for advice and whatnot.

That was weird. Redguard + Redguard = Nord? How does that happen? Unless she was adopted...

Other races should be able to have children too! I guess they just put in Nord children just as a framework so people wouldn't question where the kids are, and didn't care to do anymore with it.
