Improve your textures while waiting for the patch.

I tried this while I am waiting for the patch and it has improved things, not 100% but really an improvement.
Start off with no skyrim content on the hdd.
I do a clean up cache on my hdd, install the game and load the game while connected to live to get the update.
When the game gets to the title screen you will notice that the xbox is still loading stuff (making a lot of noise even tho the game is installed), wait for this noise to stop (1min or so).
Then quit back to the live dashboard and load the game again this time holding (left bumper/right bumper/x button) all down together to clear game caches and wait 1min for the noise/loading to stop again on the main menu. Then off you go.
I noticed in my new game wooden pillars and rocks were improved as well as npcs and their clothing from previous tries, the only bad thing still is my hands and gauntlets and some animals (cows/horses).
Also note I only play this game which means no other game overrides the cache which is what Bethesda says might be a problem.

I hope it helps, leave me know if it does.
