Ok so I'm trying to marry Ysolda, she agrees to the marriage i go set it up and wait in the temple, but as soon as she shows up i get quest failed message for attend marriage, then they all leave and get pissed, I thought it might be the corpse glitch, but when my Lydia died i ressurected her then she turned to ash so there is no body and the ash pile doesn't show up either. I've tried waiting until like right before, and I've gone in the morning and just sat all day, same thing every time. Any help or ideas or am i screwed?

Well I know I've seen worse, but dang you got off with a dead body? and turned her into ash!? [censored] dude you di... oh wait, you mean you.. wait nevermind, I read into these things to much, but yeah it kind of sounds like its messed up, I married her before you! So She's MINE!

No really that's not all, I'm not an ass, or someone for necrophilia, but hey its the internet

So yes, I have no clue why that's happening, I just arrived at like 7 or 9am and wala, wedding time lol

Ok it may sound dumb, but trust me, it worked for me(when i was still able to play the game around the 25 hours of gameplay). When you are ready to get married(after talking to priest and he told you ur weds is tomorrow) sit on the bench(front row, near altar) and wait, DONT HIT THE WAIT BUTTON, just wait, let the game time go on, but stay on the bench, don't move, don't do anything until the bride is there and the priest will say something like '' we r waiting for the groom''(something like that) Then get up and it will work.

I know it sound silly, but i did that, 2 different time with 2 different bride and it worked, even with the corpse bug. I hope im clear enough, english is not my first language, re-post here to tell me if it worked for you. Good luck!


P.S. Not related but God i hope the update will fix the lag issue, im sick and tired of waiting and not being able to play!!!!!

What is this "corpse bug"? Lol I never had that

When you are Thane in Whiterun, you get a follower(can't remember her name) and if she dies while she help ya, she spawn(dead,lying on floor near door) at the church when you get married, and it fk up ur wedding, people insult you and tell you to leave(bride won't marry you), stupid bug, but i wouldn't mind a bug like that if i was actually able to play without the framerate drop crap.

Haha damn, well lucky enough I used her for awhile till I completed the Companions main mission till I got the female from in there with the war paint on with the 3 stripes on her head, she's like an archer or something, I ALWAYS Keep my companions alive, I don't let any of them die, even my horse

Well i think her name is Lydia(not 100% sure) and she dies on my watch lol i did a poor job protecting her, and back then(first couple of hours of gameplay) i wasn't even ''laggin/ framerate drop'' i know, i know, i su/ed big time, but hey i was trying stuff you know lol, anyway, i hope what worked for me(get married, will work for OP).
