I hope someone can help me with this problem. Game runs smoothly even at high settings, but for some reason the game randomly drops to like 1 or 2 FPS for a minute or more. Sometimes it doesn't happen for 20 minutes and sometimes it is constantly occuring every few minutes. It even happens in the middle of in game menus and I have even tried setting all settings to low and it still happens. I've tried setting the priority in task manager as well which did not help. I've searched for any background programs that might be running on schedule to slow down the game and there doesnt' seem to be any. Also the computer I'm using has very recently been restored so any virus and malware problem is not likely. The only things that have been installed are steam, Skyrim, firefox, skype. I also made sure that the video driver is up to date and still it happens. Please help! Thank you.
