Hi.
I been playing Rage with no proplem. But suddenly in Blue Station then sound in the game stopped. It works in menus and everywhere else exept in the dam game. Any ideas? Reboot and all that did not work. Soundblaster X-Fi Xtream Audio.

Best regards
Einar .

I have the sample problem with the same soundblaster card in the same area.

I found that if you are standing too close to them you won't hear them.
I found that if you are standing too far from them you get voice sync issues.... like bad dubbing.

I experienced sound drops twice, but only while in the vehicle. It only happened if my car was destroyed and had to restart from a saved game. I would hear other cars, ammo being shot at me, my ammo being shot, background music, but my car's engine and sound effects of moving on the ground were silent.

Specs:

Windows 7 x64 Pro
Intel Core Duo Quad Q9400 (2.67 GHz)
4GB RAM (1033 MHz)
GeForce GTX 280 (1GB)
HT Claro PCI sound card

disable EAX enhancements in your sound card properties, otherwise I had to use the onboard sound card of my motherboard to get any sound.
