Finally downloaded Skyrim from Steam and I seem to run into a bit of a problem. I've got i7 950, 6gb, and GTX580 (haven't yet downloaded the beta drivers) and when I launched the game it detected settings as medium? Why is it so low? I think that I should run this game quite smoothly on high, if not ultra. I tried playing on high, and it run ok-ish with a bit of a stutter. Does anyone know what seems to be the problem?

it's still a mistery afaik...
i got i7 920 6gb ram and gtx285 and skyrim detected the settings as high and i play with no problems at 60-75fps... (on a 1440*900 monitor and latest gpu drivers, no beta)

sad thing is that i'm getting a gtx580 soon
