What exactly is wrong with the game?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 11:22 am

I got the game at a midnight release, been playing it ever since. I am around level 33, and have logged upwards of 50 hours in the game, and have a save file size of 8600MB roughly.

I don't really see any game breaking problems. The worse I see is some stuttering. And even then it only lasts for a second or two at the most when I enter a building.

What exactly is so game breaking? Or have I not reached the point where it becomes game breaking?

You're just one of the lucky ones I guess. My game has severe lag and has done since I hit 6mb.

could be either certain copies or concoles which have the texture / glitch problems.

What do you mean by severe lag? Like does it lag constantly from the moment you start playing?

Just trying to get an idea for whats wrong.

I'm in your shoes too. Stuttering now and then, only around 8mb though. From what I here it gets worse the longer you play. I turned auto save off and reload my game every hour or so and it reduces the small amount of lag I do have.

I got mine at release also. I am just about to hit 40 hours, level 13 - but my save file is just a wee bit above 5mb. Admittedly, I am ssslllloooowwwwww - I explore everything, read every book, keep things organized in containers. I'm svcking the marrow out of this game - walking everywhere, enjoying the graphics and scenery.

I have not had any lag or freezes.

I am jealous of how slow you play this game. I'm starting a new character tonight and I'm gonna be playing slow as hell.

If you're only at 50 hours in, and I don't say only as an insult. Chances are you don't play for long periods at a time. So I'd have to ask, how long do you normally play? If you play for no more than 3 hours at a time, you probably won't get too much lag that isn't out the ordinary.

Same here. I play somewhat slow as to not miss anything and I'm always organizing my stuff and selling off stuff I don't need and I've had very few problems other than frame rate. No glitches as far as quests go so far. I'm around 5000kb and a level 13 right now.

It depends really. When I hang out with my girlfriend I usually will play for about 5 ish hours. When I don't, possibly double that. Of course there will be days when I don't play at all. And I think I am at 50. It was 50 last time I checked lol
