Hi

after fiddling around with my gfx card settings I finally can run the game smoothly BUT when ever F5 to save it crashes and the auto saves don't appear to be saving? I have researched the net and tried turning off read only on save game folder but still no luck.

Eventually if I just play the game it either crashes when Dan offers you the first mission or when I open the door on the bandit hide out?

my system is vista 32 bit, quad core 9300, 2gb ram and geforce 9800gtx

I can save occasionally, but it crashes more often than not. I have not seen a single post that addresses this issue.

I've talked to Bethesda support and they just recommended completely reinstalling the game, which did NOT work for a few of us. I hope you have better luck than I did. I've had more fun posting on this forum than I got from the game. And not from lack of trying.

I do have this error too. But i can't play the game past ghost hideout so it doesn't really matter to me...

How is it a game in this state is even allowed to be released ! I cant even take it back to the store for a refund as they dont accept PC games back dam it
