At the end of the Forsworn Conspiracy Quest when I go into the shrine of Talos and find the guards with Eltrys and they tell me I have to go to Cindha Mine and I agree to come quietly they still attack me. I've tried reloading past saves and uninstalling and reinstalling the game to my hardrive but never has done anything. Any serious suggestions to get around this, or should I just wait for the patch and hope it's fixed?

This is a bug. It happens to me as well.

Best not to enter the shrine of talos until the bug is fixed in a patch.

The shrine blessing is also bugged anyway(time between shouts reduced by 0%) so doesn't do anything beside cure disease. so you are better off using the shrine of dibella which is in the other temple

You are better off not even finishing the quest, i went to the mine, and did the whole quest, now ever guard in the Reach does that same dialogue like im still doing the quest. I have a bounty of ~50000 because i cant go there without killing every guard

I'm having trouble with this quest too. I'll enter the Shrine to speak to Eltrys and he's dead. When I try to speak to the guards, they just stand there and say what they usually say when you talk to them, nothing related to the quest.

I've managed to pass over this. Start you console. Load a saved game near that part but before you've enter the shrine for the last time. Go to the inn and sleep for 24 hours. Go to the shrine. It might work. It worked for me.

Ive also had this glitch. I already finished the quest though but nothing happens guards still attack me.

The same thing is happening to me but not in the shrine. The guards rush me all over the city and it makes it impossible to do anything in the city. Im just staying away from the city until a patch comes.

Anyone found a workaround for this yet? I dumped 40 hours into the game and really don't want to restart...
