Bloom effect and lightning in the game are just plain silly.

The title says it all really... how do I turn them off?

I think it was in the launcher where you set your screen resolution.

There were surprisingly very few graphics settings this time around. It appears that a lot of it is preset without any option to change, although it may be possible through INI editing... I haven't looked at that yet. I'm extremely puzzled why they gave us so few options this time around for personalizing the game.

Change the "bDoHighDynamicRange" variable to 0 in the SkyrimPrefs.ini

bDoHighDynamicRange

if you bothered to check, you would know that this command clearly does nothing.

Maybe there is another way? hmmm I am surprised at the lack of in-game graphics options considering bloom has always been complained about...

I have HUNTED for another way to turn of HDR, but I just can't find it.

Bethesda has thrown us a crappy console port.
