I play a mage and for roleplaying reasons i refuse to lockpick. Its against my characters ways to go sneak around and lockpick something when i have to flaming balls of fire shooting out of my hands.
So is their anyway you can bring back the lockpick spell for us mages please

Considering the limited amount of skill points in the game, there should at least be alternative ways for a mage and fighter to open locks.

A mage should have access to an unlock spell, and a fighter should have a "bash lock" perk, otherwise, a completely unrelated
skill tree to mages/fighters becomes a required skill tree and forces you to use skill points in a tree you don't necessarily want to take.

You CAN however, use a mod called "Lockpick Pro" which has a display and shows you the 'sweet-spot' position of where to put the lockpick, so that you'll never break one again.

just search the nexus for lockpick pro

Nah - mod in lockbash.

With unlock spells I never trained lockpicking because the Oblivion minigame was aggravation itself.

This fallout3 version of the minigame is at least manageable.

Likely though with script extender we get a zumbs lockpick which removed the mini game like in the last two games.
