Problem with ATI HD 5470 : Othor Games

Hi, I tried to launch RAGE but nothing happen. I just got an error message "Rage has stopped working" ...

Laptop spec' :
Win 7 / 32 bits
RAM 4 GB
CPU i5 M430
Graphic card ATI RADEON HD 5470

Can someone help me please ...

The game is broken on laptops

It works fine on my desktop, but instant crash on my laptop.

It is a laptop with an ATI GPU so yeah that could be a bad recipe as far as RAGE is concerned.

Looking at your sig, your laptop has an nVidia GPU - so it's no surprise the game works for you.
The game is broken on older drivers from ATI, and since laptop drivers are released from the manufacturer like eg. HP, the game will be broken forever as the laptop manufacturers never bother making newer drivers for their laptops.

Basically, the laptops are stuck with old drivers which cannot be updated - drivers the game doesn't work with.
