Hi to any tech support, moderator, customer relations guy,

You have (Bethesda) a major problem with performance and the UI in Skyrim.
I'm sure you know this but I haven't seen any acknowledgement from any one in the forums.
It seems that you are either overwhelmed with complaints and burning the midnight oil to fix these issues or you all have hangovers.
Next time, if you know that a game under development is going to be a crippled mess on the PC, Don't Release it on the PC!!
I for one do not play games on any console so this game will go on the shelf until fixed.

The lag is so bad that I actually feel motion sick. I will move the mouse, let go of the mouse entirely, and THEN the screen will move.
No its not a fps issue.
Forget trying to lock pick, sneak or move fluidly. I am afraid to even knock an arrow...the target will be gone before the arrow is released due to lag.
Magic...the same as archery...
Creating a character was a pain...the menus lock up and I would have to back out in order to come forward.
The audio is so low that I have my sound all the way up to get it to a semi-comfortable level.
Cannot move or zoom in on Items in the menu.

I've tried all the fixes in the forums, installed 1.1
The best result for the mouse lag was minimal and that still doesn't address the rest of the issues.
You need to let the community know that you are on the job.

Core i7
Nividia Card

I'm not going into detail on my system. It surpasses the requirements in every way. Its not my system, its the port.

I am glad I didn't buy today. I'm also very happy I have a backlog of games to play while Skyrim slowly gets finished post-release

My wife and I have been looking forward to Skyrim.
I just can't believe that after the lessons learned from Fallout NV's bad release, Bethesda would do the same with its Flagship game.
Like I said before,"Is there any body... out there?"
My advice is not to purchase the PC version until they can get their act together.
I'm sure that it is working well for some people, and that's great!!. But ....
I didn't write the requirements on the box, develop it, market it, and sell it then go into hiding when a large portion of your audience experience game crippling issues.
As far as I'm concerned the game wasn't released today, Its still under Development.

There must be something odd with your system or something. Some driver conflict perhaps with the game code maybe.

I have NONE of the issues you mention on my system.
So far about 15 hours of actual game time, not a single crash here nor goofball mouse issues.

I had a issue with a chicken though. Damn chickens.

I did read in some threads that people with weird mouse issues should try checking
the in game settings and make sure the game controller is not enabled as it is by default. There are those
that say that fixed the mouse lag for them.

In my case it didn't seem to change anything much but I never had the issue to start with.
I dunt know why. Logitech mouse using older setpoint 4x drivers.
sys specs in my sig.
