EA Being Sued By PS3 Fans over BF3, Will Skyrim Go the same

Just think, some poor saps actually bought Superman 64, I don't remember them suing over what has to be the worst game of the past 20 years.

Superman 64... *shudders*

It's crazy because I never buy games on their first day out, or even usually first months until they go on sale. But I wanted to support this game so frigging bad..

It's things like this that will change people from legal buyers, to pirates.

Broken releases that people paid money for are hurting the industry as a whole, because it will lead to future piracy

Mark my words.

Exactly why I payed for the damn game. I could of easily waited for a new way to mod the PS3 and get the game for free. But I wanted to honor it and look what that earned me >.>

In my way of playing games Rent it play it a but if its fine then buy it a week or two after its been out dont buy on pre-order or launch cause launch is always going have bugs no matter what you may think, launch is pretty much there last net to catch bugs and glitches, so obviously all games on launch date will have bugs, glitches,et. those of you from the good old RTS games recall "Westwoods" "Red Alert 1" screw up... hehehe.. "Black Screen of Centipede" just be wiser if you know there may be some bugs, glitches on launch don't come crying cause you discover them yet expected bugs, cause it just becomes a I told you not to stick your finger in there and you come back crying with your hand missing.

Wait wouldn't that give EA a bad reputation in the end ?
Where have you been for the past two decades? EA, albeit recently taken over by Activision, is one of the most hated game publishers out there.

And I don't agree that the EA BF3 situation is the same as what's going on with Skyrim. Skyrim is just buggy software. Although I do wish sometimes there was something that governs game devs from releasing games that are clearly not ready for the market. Of course, that probably starts with the console manufacturers banding together to slap the devs / publishers from releasing games that break down and become unplayable, but that's never going to happen. So unless we want government stepping in and sticking their noses in, we're just going to have to suffer through these kind of problems. :read:
