Basically what happens is that when I get into a dungeon, building, or other indoor setting, I almost always have my mouselook movements accelerated, and my character movements do the same thing as well. The feeling is that frames are skipped or something like that.
I also experience this when playing Minecraft, so I always run it with only one active CPU affinity enabled and then the game is smooth. In fact when I first started playing Minecraft I tried doing multiplayer. This was before I figured out the CPU affinity fix. Someone accused me of using a speed hack because when I ran around. If I only run on one core, then my movements are normal.
Just for the heck of it I disabled one CPU affinity when I was in a cave while playing Skyrim, and the game became smooth. Unfortunately as soon as I went outside I found that the video portion of the game would freeze for several seconds at a time, every ten to fifteen seconds. At times the freezing was even more frequent.
One other thing - When I started to play, I had no problems. I went to my first dungeon, through the entire thing, and didn't experience this issue. But then the next time I went indoors then the problem started. Ever since then I've been seeing it when I go indoors.
Hopefully all of that makes sense. Has anyone else been dealing with this? Is there a fix?
