I was given a quest from the Librarian in College of Winterhold (Urag gro-Shub), he asked me to obtain a copy of "Glories and Lament" which if you do the Morthal questline, you will have most likely picked up already. It is impossible to drop the item and pick it up again, causing an issue where I can't finish the quest.

Pretty sure the quest is "Shalidor's Insight", i will update this when I get home to confirm.

Im experiencing the same problem, altho its with picking up wolf queen v6, already had it then opened urag's note can't put it back in the chest where the marker says it should be when I toggle it on, chest just says empty...its under misc quest tho????

Ideas?????
