About halfway through the dungeon I start hearing a noise like im stepping on and knocking things over constantly. So i switch to third person and no, nothing at my feet. Or the companions either. Start walking again, and the noise is back.
Ignore it, finish quest and turn it in back at the companions HQ. Walk toward my house on in the town and decide to run there in third person.
So I swap to third person and my person is completely not visible. Zoom out, still not visible. Swing weapon, can hear it, but cant see a thing. Completely ghosted.
Swap in and out a few times, and its doesnt change, so I ignore it and run home. Still in third person. At this point i notice my body lying lifless on the ground a few meters ahead of me. I walk forward, and it "slides" along the ground, and it HAS the physics attaches, its rag dolling along the ground, but stays a good distance from me at all times.
Eventually it bouced, kind flailed around me, all while im walking. It did a few circles around me, spiralling in, and eventually it came right in, and the flailing seemlessly blended into me running to the house. Was really quote odd, and funny at the same time.
Just thought I would put this her see if anyone has had that issue, or a similar one. If it is a one off thing it could be the PS3 graphics engine had gone awol, not under bethesda's control. But if one or a few people have had similar occurances, then I'll see about letting bethesda know.
ALSO, I have noticed a fair amount of lag, and I havent checked my save file size (I have read that at about 5MB is when it starts to lag) but I have only been playing some five or six hours, and doubt that it is that big.
Final note is that a bigger tv isnt always better... I have a 48" LCD telly in my room, was expecting a skyrim cinema of my own in my room... turns out at that size the graphics take a massive hit. Dont get me wrong, its amazing, but compared to what it looked like on my stepbrothers tv which is half the size, I think he got the better deal.
