<REQ> Elswyr mod

With all the homeless Kajit refugees, possibly a desert mod depicting them fleeing their homeland while being protected in their escape? just a thought for the modders who like to do expansive mods of new lands. using the snow meshes and textures and changing their colors might help? no clue, never worked with the textures and meshes myself

Yes. It's very easy to make huge sqf mods without modding tools, With the game being out for only a week, I bet it's already been done.

They aren't necessarily Homeless. Regardless, a mod of that scale-especially for Elsweyr- is simply impossible at the moment without the Constricton Set.

Must be hard to answer Easy Questions simply, apparently.

Elswyr, one of the few places in Tamriel that height map data doesn't exist for. Even if the height map that exists outside of Skyrim is only LOD data it is vastly more than what we have on almost all of the rest of Tamriel.

And that's just basic Geograhpy.

One of the main hurdles-even for Bethesda- in doing the Khajiiti Homeland is all the 22 Subraces of Khajiit.

Unless some "Warp in the West" style event comes along and wipes them out, then We;ll probably not be seeing it for a long time to come.

Based on what I've seen of the height map data, the best places to build a fan-made expansion would be the High Rock and Hammerfell regions. After Oblivion I don't think anybody actually wants to go back to Cyrodill.

I can just see it now with the new particle effects and stuff... Dust storms, sand blizzards and all sorts of goodness. It will be beautiful! I don't often play Khajiit but I absolutely love them, their homeland and culture.

if we can get more people to help with our modding projects we will try to include other areas like oblvivion areas and marrowind... if anyone wants to contribute to that goal for skyrim it would be much easier instead of [censored]ing and whining about not having modding tools etc... you can use the old mod tools (even if they do svck) to edit some things in skyrim, including models/textures which is alot of stuff besides that you can edit some scripts or add scripts in as well. point: all you whiners who like to complain KNOCK IT OFF... there is always a way to do stuff, stop showing your lack of IQ to the forums.

the only thing is i have no idea what eslweyr is even like... i will add it to possible things to work on for skyrim on my teams mod... if someone has information to contribute in these regards or knows the guy(s) who added marrowind to oblivion let me know please.

contact me via the nexus forums or at sb.seed@gmail.com with skyrim mod in subject line.
if you want to check out what we have planned for the mod or to check for updates to the list etc. go here: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/463687-realism-mod/page__p__3820554__fromsearch__1#entry3820554

to the people with the suggestions, keep em coming... dont let snot nosed losers interrupt your creativity.

for those who are already working on a elsweyr mod, not trying to steal anything or tread on toes... ill contact you directly tho so that we (my team) isnt recreating your work.

Whoa, hostile much?
Not to incite a flame-war (actually, just the opposite) but I politely suggest changing your approach. Saying "we could use your help" and then proceeding to launch a string of insults doesn't exactly encourage people to check out your project.
...of course, thereafter claiming:

the only thing is i have no idea what eslweyr is even like...
doesn't really help either, but is more or less aside from the point I'm trying to make.

to the people with the suggestions, keep em coming... dont let snot nosed losers interrupt your creativity.

My only suggestion is to ease off the insults, no matter who they're directed at, and try to present yourself with a bit more maturity and respect among your fellow modders - it's a huge turn-off to read a post laced with so much snark and venom, and you're far less likely to get positive responses.

elswyr is desert area, with the accents, I would say arabian nights type. also that the khajit were chased from their home, so a persecution of sometype had to have happened. possibly currently happening

as for those saying we need the cs, I am not an advanced modder. I am not as talented as some of the other modders who can fully utilize the tessnip and tesedit. I can use them a lil, but I will also wait.

back on topic. I will see what in game books and lines I can find in skyrim while playing through it.

Look man, you don't get to be so rude and insulting here if you can't even spell Morrowind or Oblivion right.
