Has anyone got this game to work on max settings?

Basically what the title says since I messed with every single option in the video setting and not a single changed with the exception of v sync which caused screen tearing when turning off and anti aliasing which caused jagged edges (so basically turning them off makes the problems they fix go back up again who would have figured). Aside from those not a single thing changed. So has anyone been able to change anything. Also for some reason the GPU transcoding option is gone now so I'm unsure if that got removed in the patch or something else is wrong.

My specs are

Windows 7 64 bit
'2 EVGA GTX 560 Ti cards in SLI (turned SLI off since it usually makes the game run worse)
8GB DDR3 ram
Seagate 2tb HDD
Intel i7 2600k
MSI P67A-GD65 motherboard
Corsair 850w PSU

No problem, but I turned off the AA because it inherently makes the picture blurry. Crossfire tends to cause stuttering too, but its easy to disable and one 5850 is more then enough.

Phenom II 940 @ 3.5ghz
Radeon 5850 (2)
8gb ddr 2 1600hz
180gb OCZ vertex 2

I actually meant has anyone managed to get max settings working since if I'm on max settings then this is the ugliest game I've played that has come out in a decade. The only games that look worse than this in my collection are Half Life and Dungeon Siege.

Yeah I have it running at max settings 1080p and 60 fps. Whether you think the game looks good or not is really up to you. Megatextures trade super high res textures for the advantage of non repetitive ones. Which one you consider to be more ugly or pretty is up to the player. In my opinion, I think its great that they have developed this technology which expands on what's possible visually in games. It will eventually evolve into a technology that gives us the best of both worlds. Super high res, non repeating textures. Where no part of the game looks the same as another. It was a necessary advancement for games to continue down the path of full photorealism.

I'm posting this because I seriously doubt that I'm anywhere near max settings not because I think this game svcks. I don't know why it's so unclear but I'm not trying to insult the game or anything I do not think it is working for me.
