If you can contract both the lycanthropy disease and vampirism disease before either disease becomes a full-fledged transformation, maybe.

Not sure, though.

Why can't I be a dragon-riding vampiric werewolf, and also the king of Skyrim? D:

I've been wondering about this too. We already know from previous elder scrolls games vampirism has a 3 day incubation period, so if you catch porphyria, the lycanthropy before the three days are up... maybe.

Or if not, I've also heard that werewolves only have 100% resist disease IN werewolf form. Yeah, this sounds like crap to me too, but it's what I've heard and no one's disputed it (but honestly it just doesn't come up)

So if lycanthropy is triggered, more like a spell, and it isn't a constant effect (again, no one has mentioned "lycanthropy" under constant effects) then why would it necissarily be impossible to be both?

I don't want both per-se, just particularily curious

I think this was because you could only become a vampire in morrowind proper, but werewolves were a big part of bloodmoon, and they didn't want to force you to start over. Since there both in from the start... i dunno

Someone will make a mod allowing this for PC. Guaranteed to happen. For other platforms, like Xbox, no.

I bet you could do it if you're in that 3 day period when you have vampirism but you're not yet a vampire. Or maybe the Companions just say, "Ooooh, sorry, you're a vampire. We don't like your kind. We won't let you be one of us." Maybe you can't even join the guild if you're a vampire.
