For the last few weeks, I've been annoyed by the immense screen tearing because of how well the game runs (kinda ironic - the game is almost too optimized) without VSync.
However, VSync in the game has been annoying me aswell, because of a weird issue with stuttering - until now!

The fix? Disable VSync in the game, but turn it on in the Catalyst Control Center.. yes - it's that simple
I facepalmed because of not having attempted to do that earlier.

I just figured I'd leave this little tip here, if you've been having that stutter issue with the game's VSync.
