Just wondering if anyone did this quest after the Battle for Whiterun?

So I got this quest to steal a certain object from Heimskr's house in Whiterun. While looking around for his house I noticed it wasn't on the city map anymore. When I found where it actually was, it was in ruins and the door was blocked off by a wooden spike barricade. Again, I accepted this quest after the Battle for Whiterun was completed. This the type of thing that will get fixed or just left like it is?

The door was blocked by a wooden barricade? In every instance that I've found, you can activate the barricade and lift it out of the way. But I haven't seen a 'spiked' one. And are you certain that you didn't have multiple quests toggled as active, and it actually was taking you to something completely different?

No one can really help you with this quest because it is one of the Radiant Story quests. I.e. the game generates it on the fly for you and it will be a different location and item to steal for every player. The quest is unique to your game in other words.

Kinda lame, but oh well I guess.
