I voted, but not for Skyrim.

I gave Skyrim the vote for best RPG - but GOTY goes to Uncharted 3.

Bethesda really dropped the ball by releasing with some of these glitches and errors. An error that cluster[censored]s the entire game if you install to the 360's HDD? Hell, I'm not even a 360 fan and I'll admit that's bad.

Spike VGA's are a joke anyway - the fact that you can vote for Zelda as GOTY before it's even released (in NA) is pure hilarity.

Pffft. VGA being a legitimate platform for awards? Are you kidding me?

Irrelevant and non-gaming celebrities are invited in there, treating it like another Oscar awards or something, the catergories don't make sense, the nominations don't make sense. NOTHING makes sense. It's embarrassing to be associated with the VGA as a gamer.

I'm not quite sure that page actually works, it seems when I submit my vote nothing gets sent, sure it says vote submitted but my browser doesn't transmit any data, my network tray doesn't blink and my router doesn't send/receive anything, I think they just made that page up to make people think there taking part in something when they actually already chose the winner themselves, the page seems like a fake to me, a dummy, it doesn't do anything but change the image when you click it.

Skyrim deserves award for glitchiest/buggiest GOTY.

Portal 2 is way more deserving.

That's your PS3 disgruntled ports speaking. Works fine as intended on the 360, though apparently users already pointed out that Archery can be fixed by tweaking the .ini files on the PC, Destruction magic and thus any magic doesn't scale with your skill level. Beyond that, enjoyable game and certainly stable.

Guys, the VGAs are NOT NOT NOT voted on by the public! They are chosen by a panel of judges a la the Oscars.

When you choose something on the linked page nothing happens other than it allowing you to share you choice on FB or twitter. The only thing that the public is allowed to vote on at the VGAs each year are:
1) Best Trailer
2) Most anticipated game of the following year

How does it make any sense to allow people to vote on GOTY when most gamers won't have played more than one or two of the nominated five? THINK PEOPLE!

I'll vote for Skyrim on that one. Anything to vote against EA's filth.
