Hi I got the house in windhelm thinking I finished the quest blood on the ice. I come back in to the city and I found out I put the wrong guy in jail. The guy I need to get is colixto I go back to my house and he gust standing their I did buy all the furnishings for the house so all the things that where in the house before are gone my question is if this quest is integral to the story and If it will be patched in the next update.

Same i sent the wrong person to jail, now i have the quest again and i can actually complete it but the strange amulet in my inventory never get's identified even though when chatting to the court mage he tells me what it is! so im stuck with a bloody quest item in my inventory, i cant go back to whiterun without triggering the 'patrol the quarter' part of the quest as i dont want to finish this quest with a piece of junk in inventory, having to avoid Whiterun has basically [censored] me over on other quests that require me to go to that city.

did you start a new game to re-get the quest? I'm 58 hours in and did many quest will hate to start over.
