Time to revive the old Company Of Heroes thread. We had fun times playing this game and it's been too long ago since we last got a group together.
Me and Lord Elendiir have been trying out the new (4 years in development) mod http://www.moddb.com/mods/company-of-heroes-modern-combat and it's a really good quality mod, taking the game into modern times. Would be nice if some more people want to try it out so we can get on the bigger maps.

So discuss the game, and feel free to post your steam/ingame name and I'll try and update a list with players.

Prefer the Blitzkreig mod myself, keep the WW2 feel going.

Great RTS though, still laugh when I think about my sherman jumbo that one-shotted a Tiger ace.

If my laptop could run the game I would definately be up for playing it but it can't so I am out. I never played with mods however. I found normal skirmishes challenging enough for me.

I'm swamped with papers right now and exams are in a month or so... after those are cleared up I'll be down for some rounds

edit: Whoa, I just saw some vids for that MC mod. Looks impressive! How did they manage to get helos in there?

I just watched Trailer 6 and was very impressed! I enjoy CoH very much, but I'm not really up for any competitive play.

So excited. I reinstalled CoH just to play again when I seen that. Not that its ever been uninstalled for long periods of time. This just got me off my lazy ass and installing it. I can't wait.

This is truly a great time for RTS fans across the world. I want to play CoH now. I think I will.

By the way, if anyone ever wants to play let me know. I'd love to team up and play some 2v2 or 3v3 online.

I logged in just to see if there was talk of CoH 2. I really want to play CoH now, but my PC will crash if I start it up.

I haven't played COH since I installed Oblivion about 4 or so years ago, I had just purchased Opposing Fronts and was starting to really get into it when I got distracted by Oblivion, then fallout 3, Then New Vegas, then...i think you get the picture now. I may just have to reinstall since Skyrim continues to be uninspiring, and FO3 and New Vegas have been played to death. Don't own Oblivion anymore, so it's either COH or a new game altogether.

Theres a steam sale on this game till the 14th and its cheap as dirt.(unless you farm dirt)

I am terrible at CoH but would love to play with fellow members. I think it's installed on my machine...

I believe we had a 3v3 or it might have been a 4v4 even last year. It was great fun. I've just bought a new shiny motherboard so I will be up for some CoH soon, I might need a new mic though.

I'm hoping for an epic co-op campaign, ala Dawn of War 2?
